Summary

"Each day, choose a 1-word topic on which the Storyteller gives a fact. If your neighbors are different alignments, it is false."

The Drivers slowly accumulates important knowledge, but it's turned upside down when their neighbors are on different teams.

  • If one of their neighbours is good and the other is evil, the information must be false
  • If one of the players is misregistering, this can affect whether the information is true or false.
  • A drunk or poisoned Driver might get true or false information regardless of who is sitting next to them.
  • If the Driver keeps asking about the same word, you can give them the same or different fact.

How to Run

Once per day, if the Driver requests a private chat with you, take them away from the circle so you cannot be overheard. Ask them what their one word topic is. Whisper one true piece of information concerning that topic, or false information if their neighbours are on different teams, to the Driver. (If you cannot think of information straight away, either take your time or ask them to come back in a few minutes.)

Keep the information you give helpful and related to the game. Avoid saying who exactly the Demon is, or it could be a very short game. If you need help on choosing what to say, give information similar to what Townsfolk abilities would provide.

Examples

The Driver states "demon" and learns "the Demon is not sitting next to you."

The Driver states "outsiders" and learns "the Lothario is in play." There is no Lothario in play, but the Drunk misregistered as the Lothario because they are sitting next to the Shroom.

The Driver states "poison" and learns "no one is poisoned." Unfortunately, the Driver was poisoned.

The Driver states "boomdandy" and learns "the Boomdandy is on the other side of the circle." Because the Boomdandy is one of their neighbors and their other neighbor is the good Dogkeeper, the Driver receieved false information.

The Driver states "jeans" and learns "the Demon is not wearing jeans". The Driver is seated between two Minions and receiven true information
