"Look at the sparrows; they do not know what they will do in the next moment. Let us literally live from moment to moment."

Summary

"The Storyteller does not facilitate talking in a circle."

Use the Fat Sparrow to reduce dithering and overanalysis on the final day.

How to Run

At any time, declare that the Fat Sparrow is in play. This usually occurs during the final day.

When a player calls for a “Round Robin”, tell them that they can do so at their leisure but you will not be slowing down the game. You will not facilitate this behavior by calling upon players individually.

Examples

During the final day, the dead Mathematician calls for a “Round Robin”. The Storyteller declares that the Fat Sparrow is in play. The Mathematician quits in a rage because that's not how “No Rolls Barred” does it.

Explanation

Many players are used to calling for a “Round Robin” to help the good team solve the game on the final day. This is a bad habit spread by social media content creators and word of mouth.

This habit puts the evil team on the back foot and greatly reduces their ability to win. If the good team has endless time to analyze the game, the evil team will have a much lower chance to succeed.

Players who expect this event will hoard their information until the final day. Because of this, the beginning of the game will also slow down as players keep their information vague.

Letting players know this habit will not be facilitated will make the game will go smoother, faster, and have higher excitement and tension.
