Use the Barker to give everyone a clue about what characters might be in play.
How to Run
While setting up the game, declare that the Barker is in play. You must not have more than three Outsiders in the bag.
Count the number of Outsiders in the bag. This is how many characters the Barker must correctly announce.
On the first night, announce three character names.
Put some pizzazz in the announcement to give the game some flavor.
Examples
The Storyteller announces the Poppins, Lucky Cat, and Hagy Bagy. None of them are in play, because there are no Outsiders in the bag.
The Tinker and the Balloonist are in the bag. The Storyteller announces the Balloonist, Gambler, and Compere.
Explanation
While this Fabled character was specifically tailored to the Carnival of Lies, it could be useful on any script where the teams do not have any information about each other.
