The Night Owl learns how information about who in the town are up out of bed past their bedtimes, but has to parse it out.

  • The Night Owl counts players woken due to abilities, even other players' abilities.
  • Demon Info, Minion Info, and players woken up by the Storyteller for other reasons are not counted.
  • The Night Owl does not count themselves.
  • 0 other players waking is even.

How to Run

Before waking the Night Owl, determine how many players were awoken due to an ability.

Each night, wake the Night Owl. If the number of players awoken is odd, show 1 finger. If the number of players awoken is even, show 2 fingers.

Examples

Besides Minion Info and Demon Info, no players woke up the first night. The Insomniac learns a "2".

The Demon woke up to kill a player. The Nightwatchman woke up, and selected the Soldier to learn about the Nightwatchman. The Insomniac learns a "1".

Explanation

This character was modified from it's original ability: "Each night*, you learn a character that died tonight."
