The Hypnotist starts alone, but builds their team from inside the town.

The Hypnotist does not kill players at night.

The Hypnotist can turn any good player evil, regardless of their character type.

How to Run

Each night except the first, wake the Hypnotist. The Hypnotist points at any player. Put the Hypnotist to sleep. Put the Hypnotist's TURNS EVIL reminder by the chosen player's character token in the Grimoire.

Each night, if a player is marked with the TURNS EVIL reminder, wake them. Show the YOU ARE info token then give a thumbs down. Show them the Hypnotist token, then point to the Hypnotist player. Put them to sleep. Turn their character token upside down. (This shows they are now evil.) The Hypnotist might lose their ability—if so, mark them with the NO ABILITY reminder and remove their night token from the night sheet.

If an evil player is chosen by the Hypnotist, they learn who the Hypnotist is.

Examples

In a 9 player game, the Hypnotist has already made one character evil. The Hypnotist wakes and selects the Drunk. The Drunk turns evil and learns who the Hypnotist is, but continues to think they are the evil Flowergirl. The Hypnotist loses their ability.
